For the year 2010.
So crazy can you really believe it is 2011 in a few short hours. I seriously can not. Seriously. Soooo much has happened this year its flown past like the concord that used to scream over our house in Windsor which doesn't seem all that long ago and yet in actually was more than 5 years ago.
So our biggest happening has been our lovely girl's arrival. She is a super baby and continues to astonish us everyday about how lovely and wriggly she is.
Another new change is GH and his job(s). He has finished up, worked from home, worked far away and now in the new year is starting a new and Lord willing long term (10 years please) new job. We're super excited about it because its for a company that we think is sweet:)
Not forgetting our very excellent adventure to NZ, where past memories were laid to rest because of the fun time we had with family and the snow.
So I am really looking forward to 2011, and the new beginning it brings like new jobs, and a new adventure for Princess (starting school) and maybe a new home and any new 'adventures' God has on store for us.
Have a Happy New Year!

Santa
We managed to get a Santa picture with all the girls, not too bad considering that the older two just wanted to keep turning around and talk to Santa while Cutie just wanted to get away from him. It was funny, I put her on his lap and she saw his beard first and went to pull it and then realised before she did that there was a strange man attached to it. Well then there was not fear in the eyes but a strong sense of anger. It was like she was saying' who are you and just what do you think you are doing holding me. Let...Me...GO!'.
She wasn't crying but she would push her tummy out as far as she could and make it as difficult for Santa as possible. The photographers had a bubble machine which took her attention away pretty well and although she's not smiling it's not too bad. Sweetness also had to hold her hand to stop Cutie from ripping out her hair clip along with a handful of hair. Funny days:) The joys of being a SAHM

Prepare yourself for utter cuteness in a Princess way
What a little cutie right?
Sorry I can't help but share my lovely little dancer. She has worked quite hard to learn her dance and mum has taken her to lots of rehearsals etc.Oh my, how beautiful is she. She did a really great job on stage and I am amazed at how brave all the little girls were.

Oh dear, it has all started
Someone is discovering new rooms of the house.
She also has a partner in crime.
I guess this will be what it is going to be like next year. Princess is at her dress rehearsal this morning so I am down to two for a few hours. Sweetness was devastated to leave her there. Princess was like "Ok, you can go now. Bye"

7 1/2 months
This should have been a 6 months checkup but I seemed to have more trouble than I thought actually getting to the doctors and so this has become a 7 1/2 month check up.
So you are 74 cms which puts you above the chart in the 97th percentile.
You weigh 8775gms which puts you in the 75th percentile, down a little from last time.
Things that you are doing- you are commando crawling and can get much further and further everyday. If I dare walk into the kitchen you are getting faster in following me there. You got all the way down the hall today. You also have pulled yourself into standing once in the bath and the other using a playgym. You seems super strong to me because if you want down I struggle to keep a good hold on you.
Things you are saying- ma ma ma, da da da, ba ba ba, nan nan nan.
You have got very clingy recently and cry quickly when mummy is near but just out of your reach.
You lovvvvve to pull hair. Whether I have in down or up you always get a good hold and pull it out. You use daddy's ears in the same way. Your big sisters are learning quite well that when they hug you the have to move out of arms reach quickly again as there has been a few tears recently. My goodness your only 7 months and making your sisters cry, they better watch out.
You still share around your smiles but they certainly come more readily if you are safe in mummy's arms. And giggles are reserved again for Mummy and sisters but I am sure you will share them again soon.
Oh and you have one tooth through with the next one clearly seen under the surface of the gum and yes you are quite grumpy about this.
Update: by the end of day new tooth was cut.

Something special
Seeing as this is my 200th post I thought I would share a little something special. My baby is crawling, it's still commando but she is certainly going places now. She is 7 1/2 months which is a little younger than the other girls who were 8 1/2 months.
I remember saying recently that I am looking forward to this stage and now that I look around the floor and see polly pockets, barbie shoes and lego pieces I think I might revise that saying.
Each new stage brings with it new challenges and new positives, I choose today to consider it a blessing, let's pray I am able to choose it again tomorrow:)

MMMMMMmmmmmm
So we have discovered what is better than baking all on your own and only ending up with one batch. Invite your friends over and each make something different so you end up with a nice variety.
Chocolate candy cane bark.
Chocolate candy cane bark.
This is not exactly what we made, ours was chocolate cake covered with white chocolate and sprinkles but this gives you a good example.Clearly none of these are my photos because one day later and all these goodies are nearly all gone. MMMMMMMmmmmmmmmm

Sniff sniff
So we all have a cold, funny thing is that I think this is the first time that I have had to deal with ALL of us being sick. Sweetness was first to get it and more often than not I tend to follow, Cutie also falls prey to illness quite easily but Princess has been so robust in the past year or two and so for the first time in ages she has a cold. You would think because she is so robust to sickness that she would handle it with grace and aplomb, think again. My little Princess comes in at 5am telling us that the night time lasts too long and then she gets into bed with us and tosses and turns and then then starts sniffing in our ears.
In other news related to a bit of whining our little cutie has cut her first tooth. A few days short of 7 months. She eats everything now just imagine life with teeth:)

My little Ballerina
This is the parents viewing day where I knew she was getting her trophy but she didn't, she was sooooo happy. Her daddy even got to see her because of car troubles so it all turns out doesn't it.
In a few weeks she has her concert which should be adorable too.

I'm three
Can you believe this little sweetie is 3 already. How time has flown. It's funny because she has looked three for so long and now its actually happened.
Dear Sweetness,What absolute joy you were from the very start. You were such a contented baby, happy to sleep and help Mummy when dealing with your big sister. I can hardly remember your cry because you were just so happy to sit and observe.
I love this silly photo just because it reminds me of your funny little personality, you were so cutsey woosey.
Such a beautiful baby who followed her mummy around everywhere. You loved more than anything else just to get up on my bed and give and receive lots and lots of cuddles.
But you were also a very active little girl who loved the water. In your first lot of swimming lessons your teacher called you danger mouse because you were exceptionally brave (and silly).
As much as you love your mummy and daddy it is very clear that your big sister is a huge influence in your life.
Even as you grow older you still keep your sweet and funny personality. You really enjoy getting out in the world and enjoying different experiences.
It's just amazing how you have grown into such a big girl. You have the sweetest disposition.
Although you are going through a bit of a whiney stage but I would never say that you were a terrible two year old.
Oh how much I love you my sweet little girl. You really take my breathe away with your loveliness. The way you try to protect your sister from getting in trouble, the way you pout and do that funny tongue thing when you are tired, I love how you love to be a bit silly and laugh with your big sister, I love that you are amazed and want to tell me about every little thing your baby sister does like it's the greatest thing on earth. And I especially love that you love my cuddles because I love yours.
I look forward to seeing you grow and learn and continue loving life as you do.

Just because
Not much to say, just wanting to share my photos of my gorgeous girls and wanting to catch up with my photos.
I love this one, she is really starting to develop her personality and as you can see she loves to laugh.

Joy
No, it didn't rain today, this is from a few weeks ago, but I am still behind in my posts and I wanted to share.
This little Princess of mine has been waiting for a long time to get her little hands on this umbrella, as you can see delayed gratification can be an awesome thing:)

Learning to walk
No, not cutie but the rest of the family. All our walking while away in NZ encouraged us to take a walk up at Mt Tamborine.
The girls (and their mum) had lots of fun playing on the rocks, although it was too cold yet for a swim.
I LOVE my family, that is all.

Great warm weather and great friend
So happy to be greeting the warmer weather, I am so looking forward to this summer, I know in Brisbane its hot hot hot and humid but I don't mind being hot especially when we have such fun ways of cooling down.
I know there is one little girl missing but just wait a few more months and I am sure she will be in amongst them.
These two are off to school next year, I know they won't be much trouble because they are both good girls but I imagine some giggling may cause the teacher to separate them on more than one occasion.

New Zealand
Not long after Princess' birthday it was time for our trip to NZ. After troubles from previous years some may think that I was not too keen to go on this trip and if you asked me before Juicy Lucy was born they would have been right, but after baby was born and a chance to get away for awhile I became keen. Of course I didn't realise I was headed to this weather but I think it was just great in the end because it gave us all a chance to just spend some good time together as a family.
There was lots of chances to do some hiking. So glad Ebay provided this awesome backpack. Two little girls appreciated it. And we have now decided that since Princess coped much better than we anticipated that we would now try to go on more hikes at home now. Pics of this to come.
Another avid photographer:)
Just hanging out with the family in a cute little village of which I can not remember the name.
Most of these photo are either taken by this young lady or by her new camera. She really was such a joy all holiday to us.
This is her and one of her best buddies in their ski school. Unfortunately we don't have one photo of her skiing, which is sad but she remembers the experience well and has a desire to try it again. That makes her daddy happy because he will have a companion on the slopes in years to come.
This was my cup of tea. Jet boating! This was the plan once we arrived and it was just so awesome, for me it was the best experience of the holiday and I would most definitely recommend it to anyone, although some may say the rain which felt like rocks being thrown at your face added to the experience I would suggest that without the rain may save some bruising.
What was really lovely was just for us all to be together and enjoy our families. The children had such a lovely time together and it was lovely to see their relationships blossom.
So now I have been able to wipe all old NZ memories from my thoughts and now I think that its an amazing country, just don't ask me about their border security:)
