My goodness it's hard to believe you've only been here for 3 weeks, it seems I've known you for so much longer.
You've had a hard first few weeks of life. Stomach bug and now a cold from your sisters. Something must be wrong with mummy's milk because I thought you were meant to be immune to these things. Poor Bub.

Two weeks old (yesterday)
Well our newest addition was two weeks old yesterday, time has gone by so quickly already.
After a tough Thursday night with Princess and Sweetness sick we had a follow up evening with new baby and I being sick. Not fun sitting round the toilet bowl, even less fun doing it while watching your husband pace up and down with a sick 10 day old baby. But we got through, although we did pass it on to my poor dad but it seems to have hit Brissy pretty badly from all the different people I have spoken to.
Back to baby, I have decided that until I get to know her a little better I will use the name her sisters call her as her blog name. Cutie. Not original in any way but Sweetness is always right next to her saying 'She's soooo coot'. And Princess holds her and gets in close to her face and tells her she is such a cutie rudie. So Cutie it is (for now).
More about Cutie.
Sigh, she is seeming more like her biggest sister and has a great set of lungs which are put to full use if she is put into her cot awake. She was held so much over the weekend being sick and I think she enjoyed it a little too much. Now the harder lesson of having only one parent around to be shared with two big loud sister is going to need to be learnt.

Oh what a night
I guess I only want to record this night because it was a hard one and it is a way I can remind myself that even when things do get a bit difficult I have the most wonderful little family.
My night started well little baby had her feed at 8.40pm while I watched the end of Glee. We then went straight to bed.
Two hours later I hear Sweetness cry out and both GH and I knew straight away something was wrong. Sweetness had thrown up, all over her bed and pillow. One of us strips her off and new pjs while the other changes sheets. My tummy starts making digestive noises now too.
Within 5 minutes Sweetness is sick again. Did I mention we only have two sheet sets for her bed. We hope that she has got it all up and put her into bed with us. We check on Princess and think it is strange she is wide away around 12.
Of course Sweetness has not finished and so our bed gets a new change of sheets. We realise we too only have 2 pairs and so I take Sweetness to the couch. Poor little thing is sick more times. Another check on wide awake Princess prompts Hubby to give her a dish just in case.
New baby is now stirring so I figure I should feed her while I am up but she refuses. Hubby takes couch with sweetness and after a few more episodes we bring her in to the foot of our bed on a mattress, blankets and towels. By this time we are running out of clean towels etc.
2.30am Princess is heard moaning. Clever little girl managed to get it all in her dish. One less sheets to change.
Sweetness continues to wake and be sick. Her last time at 3am.
3am also is the time new baby decides its time for her feed. I can not believe she has slept through 6 hours. Baby feeds and then decides rather than going back to sleep she would get me up again to change her clothes and nappy.
3.30am I am finally back in bed in hopes of getting some sleep.
Around 6 new baby stirs for another feed and Princess comes into bed.
Oh what a night!
I hope my dear visitor have not been infected too, so sorry if you have.

What we know so far
I thought I would keep record of what we know so far of our newest addition. Actually its not all that much but you are only 7 days old today but there is a few things we know.
1. You get the hiccups all the time. You had them a lot during pregnancy, in fact you actually got them while I was in labour (which made contractions even more painful).
2. Your excessive hiccups may be from the trait known to be 'a great sucker'. You had a great sucking reflect from the start. May be we need to tame this trait so you have less hiccups. Princess has also worked out how this can be used to stop your crying. First she stuck her finger into you mouth which made you happy but after being told by Daddy that her hands were too dirty she learnt that her nose could be used as well.
3. You love noise. Not necessarily making it yourself but it would seem the louder your sister are around you the happier and easier you seem to be able to sleep.
4.You like to be where the action is. This means that putting you to sleep in your own bed is already difficult. Hence you get put into your swing or rocker and you'll go to sleep amongst the cries and proddings from your sisters.
