This year has been busy but also made me slow down and consider many things in our lives.
I started this year with such enthusiasm, so excited to be homeschooling and feeling confident about where we were going with it all. And school-wise I am still happy 80% of the time when the girls happily sit up at the table to do their school work. The other times when it is like pulling teeth is not quite so easy and I can't help but think 'you would never talk to a teacher that way'. But thankfully the girls are understanding more the importance of what we are doing and most days we can get on with it.
Another reason it haven't gone so smoothly is because I have been quite sick. After we got back from our holiday to the coast things just kept pulling me down and I had about 2-3 weeks where I could hardly get myself out of bed. But sometimes we are forced to be still whether we enjoy it or not. I don't really enjoy being still but it has brought about much processing and things will be changing in our lives, even though I have been kicking and screaming about it. A bit cryptic I know but I will talk about it more into the future.
I really just wanted to post some pictures so that I could look back and remember that there were some fun times going on at the start of 2014.
Like Sweetness getting her new glasses, having a photo shoot done down at the point, first day of school and fun times at the theme parks.
I love my family so much and I just feel so blessed that I can share these moments with them.
