Amid the chaos

Amongst the chaos of our life at the moment something very special is finally occurring.
I know that lots of frustration is still to come but I am happy to see some progression.

And just because I don't want to leave the other girls out here are these beautiful creatures too

Lord willing life will be quietening down soon, and I may even end up having a husband working from home, although I am unsure if that's a good thing or just adding further 'life' to our household.

Today was a lovely day, nice and warm. Many people may start to mourn the winter here in Brissy but I love the warmer weather. Cutie especially loved that she wasn't bundled up today.

Even though little cutie is only 3 1/2 months old, we decided to start the process last Saturday.



1 week on and she is a little champion. She eats all her rice cereal and then looks at me like 'is that it?' So today I gave her a rusk on top and she was well pleased.

She is just amazing, these last two weeks she has grown and changed so much, she is making lots of noises now and we get an occasional squeal of delight.

Today we took the girls on their first train ride and into the museum. We only looked at the animal exhibits and then headed for a play at southbank. All three girls were so lovely and their behaviour made it such a great day. I truly feel so blessed to have these girls in my life.
Not to mention the gorgeous husband who helps me look after them all.

I'll be a pirate but no beard!

When I painted these lovely ladies it was surprising to me that when I showed them the picture of what I was going to paint on their faces they were both very sure that they would let me paint them as pirates but they were definitely not going to have a beard.

It's funny that these girls are so very girly, as a child I wouldn't have thought twice about being made a pirate and getting my beard too, just goes to show they really aren't little versions of their mums or dads, they are their own unique little selves.

More practicing

After having their faces painted they decided to be mean and grumpy to eachother. I think its time for the chat about method acting. I appreciate stanislavski's methods but they really aren't suitable for a 2 and 4 year old:)
Sorry old drama teacher joke.
