Second last day before holidays was community helper dress up day. We are very blessed to know a policeman who lent us an old shirt and also a police woman's hat. (We won't ask why he has a woman's hat:)
Seeing her in the shirt as a dress makes her look little again. Isn't she cute.
Just don't tell her, because its not about being cute, it's about having attitude
Which she seems to have in abundance. At least with mummy that is.

WHat is that
Is it blood?
Is it a rash?
No, it's what happens when you leave a three year old in the backseat of a car with a red marker.

Just letting it happen
Planning is something I try hard to do, although often very unsuccessfully, but I truly believe that I should save myself the trouble. I don't mean this in a 'woe is me' type of way. I just believe that it is so important to accept what is given us and enjoy it and if we can't enjoy to still accept it.
Princess has had two days home this week from illness (real one as opposed to Mummy really doesn't want to do all that driving today). The first day was hard and I felt a little put out as I have my cleaning day on a Tuesday and am given aid in it. I also had two out of three children whingy, one because she was sick and another because she didn't like the attention that her biggest sister was getting.
But today, well as much as i had other plans, it's been just lovely. I did get a break from the girls but I feel happy that I have got to see my girls interacting and enjoying (for the most part) eachother's company.
We really do put so much effort into plans and getting organised but I find really the greatest joy in accepting what is given and facing any challenge it brings with an 'I can do it' attitude, because really its all in God's hands and we all know He really does know what is best for us.
