Anyway I really am sad because I have had to stay home from church today and I really miss not being with the family on a Sunday. In fact we have missed out on a lot this week due to feeling out of it. Princess has had a cough, Sweetness has had conjunctivitis along with a constant running nose. More and more I am wishing my life away because I want winter banished.
Can you imagine being able to run around the world and just have a constant summer. I guess I really should have taken up surfing in my youth and then I would have been able to follow the summer and spend all my time on the beach. I bet Princess and Sweetness would have loved it. Although Gorgeous Husband really really dislikes sand. He has a strong dislikement of its ability to get everywhere. I on the other hand have always enjoyed a great day at the beach being pounded by the waves, making sand castles. I especially love the drive home when you feel the salt on your skin and the sun is draining out all moisture in your skin and you feel your skin get tighter and smoother. And the only thing that tops all that is the wonderful feeling when you get to have a shower afterwards and wash all the sand out of your hair and the salt off your body. I never feel so clean then after a day at the beach.

I am now counting down the days until summer or at least Spring- only July, August, September until it starts to warm up.

Sorry you're sick! Hope it doesn't last too long.
It seems strange to think that you have winter while we are sweltering in our HOT Texas summer - it was 100F when we arrived in Keller (north Fort Worth) last night. It's cooler today because we had a thunderstorm which cooled things considerably but now the humidity is up.
When we lived in the Caribbean, I did NOT like the constant 85 - 95F temps, sunup at 6:30am - sundown at 6:30pm, everyday about the same. The only change in season was wet season vs. dry season. I do so like to have definite signs of season change - falling leaves, snow, budding plants and full glory growth.
& here I am wishing I could spend winter up in Brisbane : )
