Our holiday and my 100th post

Well we are finally home and I am more happy than I could possible express. I know that you would love to know what happened particularly on the last part of our holiday (isolation) but I think I will live that for a later post and go through our exciting disney holiday as it happened.
So here is day one at disney which was actually day 2 for our holiday but we were much too tired after such a long flight to hit disneyland straight away. Actually on day 1 of holiday we did something which ended up quite a common occurrence in our holiday and that was shopping.
So here are some photos of our first few rides at Disneyland up first was Grammy's very favourite- It's a small world This photo is just before we entered into a world where little dolls with very LOUD voices kept singing to us about it being a "small world afterall".
Next was what Princess had dreamt about most of all- the teacups and we were very blessed because we got to sit in our favourite colour 'pink'.
Next came the Dumbo ride- Princess was loving all the rides at this stage, Sweetness was a little tired still and it wasn't until the later days that she actually gave us a few smiles.
Then was the carousal which we ended up through the five days going on the most because the line was always so short and also because Sweetness enjoyed it.
After that the rides started to get a bit more scary and Princess was not so impressed with them. Some of them were:
Alice in Wonderland, Mr Toad's Ride, Pirates of the Carribean (Princess spent this ride with her head face down on Daddy's lap with her hands over her ears- really scary to a three year old). I am pretty sure we got to go on Space Mountain this day too towards the night and quite a few others too which I can't remember the names.

Day one at disney was really great and we were really blessed because the crowd was not too big that day and we really got to get on heaps of rides.
We also so some of the sights that you expect to at disney which was the castle and this lady here.

On another note I can't believe I have reached 100 posts already I really feel very blessed that we live in an era where we can record our memories and share them with our friends. I remember being young and trying to write a diary- I think I in fact started more than three- but I always forgot about them or just gave up. With the blog I feel that I will be able to look back at my words- good and bad- and look at the photos and be really happy that I have been able to blog.

oh oh oh- you're not going to believe it

Well we've had some rather annoying more than anything else news- We are stuck in New Zealand at this moment because Sweetness has suspected Swine Flu. We are almost certain that she hasn't got it but they asked me as we were walking through to our Home bound flight and as much as I wanted to say no she's just tired I knew that I had to tell the truth and that she was sick but she had gotten it from me and now I am back to full health- even though I am a little jet lagged now. Which is why I will explain in more depth once we finally get home again- gee my bed must be missing me now.

Hi Everyone

Sorry this is a no pictures post as I haven't been able to download any yet.
I just wanted to let you know that we are all safe and that we are having a great time in LA and now Big Bear.
I will go into further details about each of our days when I have some photos to share.
Love you.

One last photo before we go

Well maybe more than one- just taken on Sunday- the girls were looking so cute in their pink gingham I just couldn't resist a chance to photograph them. As I have said with previous posts it is not easy to get them to cooperate with each other or the photographer and so these were the best we could do. Gorgeous Husband took the photos while I tried to get their attention- you can tell where I'm standing can't you.
Well there may be a absence for two weeks while we are travelling, so wish me luck to keep these lovely ladies entertained for a long flight.

Retreat

No I am not surrendering to anything- well actually maybe I did a little to chocolate, I am talking about our annual Easter Retreat with our brothers and sisters.

We had a great time spending time in lesson which were excellent and Lord willing I will share some more- I just hope I remember it- later. But we also had a great time in fellowship- the kids played and played and made some new friends and Princess is learning to open up more with people- these are people she has known her whole life and still doesn't talk to. Sweetness lives up to her name well and will go to anyone who will take her, unless she is having a splendid time with Daddy and then she doesn't want to leave his side. They were also spoilt, no blessed with lots of easter eggs from the hunt.

Gorgeous Husband had a great time winning games and having a good break from work and being able to do some fun things like play risk, mafia and card games. And I got to spend some time with adults as well as the youth and have been able to do some real thinking about many things.

Oh and this was how my bunny wunnies turned out- cute huh?
