HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY GIRL

Can you really believe that one whole year has passed since my little baby was born. I certainly can not.

She was so tiny, but so big compared to her sisters but still so small.

Everyday you seem to learn something new now, my little baby is growing up at lightning speed. It feels like you were being cradled in my arms not so long ago. That you wrapped up in our sling and your little body would be close to mine and you were my little secret. I could open up the top of the wrap and I could peek in at you and you would sleep warm, safe and comforted by my being near.

Then you grew some, and started to become interested in other play things besides me. You started to take an interest in your daddy, sisters and a few others. You were actually being passed to others to have a hold.

And then you started to crawl. Those lovely chubby little legs started to get you places. Places away from your mummy. Yes mummy could do a few things more than just hold you now but you were very generous still with your affection and cuddles for me.

Growing, learning, walking and talking. I was a little sad that just like your sisters your first words were 'daddy' I thought I had a chance but I could console myself that even though you words were for daddy, your primary interest were still in me.

But with more growth came a growing interest in others. Mummy's cuddles were lovely but Daddy's soared you to new heights, literally.

You are such a lovely, funny and joyful baby.

Everyday now you grow into a little girl. Walking will soon grow into running. Babbling will turn into words. And your little world, of which mummy was most important, is growing larger and wider.

I love you my little one, you bring such joy to our family and I couldn't ever express my thankfulness to Our Father for allowing you to become a part of our family.

Thankful

I'm reading this book at the moment and thoroughly enjoying it. It talks about how it is so important to give thanks to God for our gifts and through this giving thanks we receive joy.
I really like that idea.

Today I give thanks for

1. Drizzly rain that makes me happy that I can stay inside all day.
2. The happiness my girls get from their mutual friend.
3. Silly jokes that she laughs at herself.

4. My baby is a walker
5. School holidays where I can enjoy my girls company all day long. When we flop around the house because of sickness and feel so blessed that we were forced to stay home.

Oh the look of joy when I arrived at school today was not for me but because of someone else. His name is Monty and even though he's a boy he can still join in a tea party.

I thought it would get easier

but I'm missing this girl.

It's especially hard when she has been sick over the weekend and you're not sure if you believe her when she says she still feels sick because you think she still nervous about going to school and having someone to play with.

It would be so easy to keep her home but I know that she is learning such important lessons and skills.

Still we miss her presence, even when she is like this.

Hot Day- or Our baby loves water

I know I have put lots of swimming pool shots up before but the baby pool brings such joy to each of our girls and I love the smiles it brings.
