Lazy Friday by the pool

Today I decided that I deserved a lazy day and because the weather was so lovely I got out our new improved pool. I definitely think any future house of ours is in need of a pool.

Blogging absence

Hi everyone, yes I am still alive, occasionally sick but alive.
As you already know or have guessed we've been on holidays to the beach. We did lots of swimming but not actually at the beach but in the hotel pool. The beach is not flagged at the moment and I'm guessing that because it's not the most popular beach as it is only flagged on weekends in Summer. Don't get me wrong its a really beautiful beach but to get to the water it is quite a hike. We did it almost everyday but we only played at the waters edge.

I will write another post sharing with you all just how much this beautiful girl has grown and how she is turning into the beautiful Rose that she is very soon.

Just before we went away another big occasion occured- Our Princess turned four. We didn't have a party this year for her and she was kind of confused about that, she thought that's what you do every birthday. We did have a cake and she got some beautiful and amazing presents, suffice to say she is a very blessed little girl.

What they got up to

Our special little visitor is gone but her mummy put some photos on to facebook and so I thought I would share them with you. Aren't they amazing experiences to have. I really feel blessed that we could be just a small part of being able to help this happen.

In other news I have had to rediscover crackers and gingernut biscuits. All i can bring myself to eat at the moment is plain, plain, plain. It seems that it is morning sickness but it more often begins in the afternoon and lasts most evenings. I am almost tempted to take the marker down from the blog just so I don't have to think about it. Now that I've had a whinge I can keep it out of the next few posts.

I hope you enjoyed the photos;)

Just to say hello

It's been a big week, with our visitor, illnesses in the family (mostly colds for me and DH), an ear infection for Sweetness and just plain chaos everywhere you look this week. When I say chaos I guess I should use a more simplified expression of MESS.

Both DH and I were looking forward to Saturday with hopes of getting more done but I kind of wrecked that plan yesterday. I did the most silly thing, I didn't even think to favorably as I was doing it- but did it stop me- unfortunately no. I gave Angus the rest of Sweetness' ice-block, no not ice-block- Ice cream would be the most accurate way to describe it.
Boys and girls- NEVER give a puppy an ice-cream- it upsets his tummy- ALOT.

So Angus was up making a lot of fuss last night and therefore I was and then DH was up a lot. We let him outside and then back in (we had to let him in again as he also has a barking problem) but still this morning the laundry floor is...well...unapproachable for me being pregnant and all. DH is not yet up and has not yet seen- he will be impressed:(

In other news I have found some new blogs that I am enjoying from a design perspective and also a great site for teaching children a love of books.

Well next week is shaping up to be a big one especially as Sunday is father's day and Wednesday is Princess' birthday.

I hope everyone else is having a good week.

Our Special Visitor

This post is dedicated to our very special visitor who arrived with us today.

Of course you can not see from this photo that the girls were doing something that only us adults got the pleasure of pre-water restrictions.
They certainly are not having so much fun running around in their togs in winter.
But...if they did have fun running under the sprinkler they most certainly would have had a warm bath afterwards:)
I feel it is safe to say that this delightfully happy young lady should sleep well tonight. I would like to say that she is already asleep but I am certain that is them I can hear WHISPERING.

Just to top it off.

Just to top off our happy happy Friday we went to Dreamworld on Saturday. This was actually my reason for taking the test so I could know whether it was safe to go on the fast rides. Well I didn't mind too much about missing out because the rest of the day was a fun one.
We got to ride the Wiggles rides and Dora's ride and plenty of others too. We saw the Tigers ( Sweetness spent the rest of the day roaring) and we saw the Crocodiles (Princess spent the rest of the day asking if crocodiles eat...?).

These are just some other photos I wanted to share. I love my babies and am so happy to be adding to our family.
We will have to let Sweetness know that these wrestling moves are only to be used on Princess- at least for the first 18 months.
