Reasons I shouldn't stay home

I'm going to get fat.

Princess is home from school today as she is still sick and wanted to make choc chip cookies so she wouldn't miss out on the cooking.

At the end she hasn't eaten one as she still isn't feeling all that good but Lord willing she will be better by the end of the day and taste her goodies.

Week in review.

After her recovery we are starting to promote cooking and baking with Sweetness. She doesn't have much interest in learning 'school' activities and spends most of her time outside and/or playing fairies.
And so here are some very nice chocolate chip muffins.

Happy girl and I thought they were delicious. I know that there is someone out there who is asking how I could possibly give a toddler wearing cream a chocolate muffin without a bib but you know me, I'm very daring.

So after having a sick child last weekend Princess decided that she would take over this weekend with sickness. She was lucky and managed to get in a birthday party on Friday night first.

You have to laugh I told Princess that she didn't look sick enough for my picture and so this was her second attempt. What a drama queen (just like her mother)

Princess is super when she is sick, she manages to look after herself most of the time, even getting her own spew bucket. She just needs to learn to hold her hair out of her face. poor diddums.

Poor Sweetness

Poor sweetness managed to make it past her two sisters being sick last week and so I thought she was getting a better immunity. What I failed to note was that a birthday party which meant alot to her was happening.

So of course she missed the party.

Floors and doors

Interesting title and not so interesting topics.
Floors are somewhat a sore point in my house because rarely are they clean. With three kiddies (one very clumsy and the other who simply tips out what is left after she has had her fill). But now I discovered these. Rather than mopping the floors everyday I can sweep and wipe the bits of cordial, the bits of pasta sauce, the crumbs etc. I've very happy. Why didn't anyone share this idea with me before.

On to doors.
I once had a daughter who loved to open and close doors. I was able to capture her interest in them here and in about another 20 pictures.

Well now Happy Girl has started opening and closing the very same doors (sorry no photos, which is a shame because the funny thing is is that they were wearing the same pants while doing it) but the difference in attitude and the noise included is quite different. My life at the moment is
all about BANG slide slide BANG slide slide BANG.

So that's my life at this time floors and doors.

Celebs have nothing on my girl

Cute is cute.

She brought them to me.

Winter weekend

What I do love about Queensland is the weather in the winter. In the warm sunshine its just perfect to play outside and not get too hot or too cold. We actually end up playing outside much more in the Winter than Summer as its just too hot in the middle of the day and generally that's the best time to play outside.

Outside time is also a very good time to take some photos.
Isn't she lovely:) Of course I am very biased.

And here again.

Their Daddy decided it was a good time to encourage the girls to do some exercises. Happy girl really does think she can do anything that her sisters can do (sometimes better).

And here's where they climb all over him because they love him so much.

I love the weekends where we can be together.

Looks cute but did you know that Princess is trying to get in front of her sister as opposed to have a nice photo WITH her.

Looks can be deceiving, no?

Don't even get me started on this one. I took around 5 photos of the group of girls and would she look at the camera in even one.

I'm guessing supermodels are not in their futures.

But that's ok, because there is plenty of character in them, no?
